You want the good or the bad news ?
Let's get the bad over with first.. Any orders placed on the web store between Saturday 27th February and Monday 7th March may have a slight delay. Why ? you may well ask..
To the good.. I've had the opportunity to go on my first coffee sourcing trip to El Salvador. Travelling with a couple of the big guns Andrew Tucker head of coffee for Clifton Coffee from Bristol and Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood former three times national Barista Champion, owner of Colonna and Smalls in Bath and now his own roasting business Colonna. I'll be visiting four coffee plantations, wet and dry mills, meeting farmers, exporters and various coffee folk. Hopefully I'll learn a heap, taste some amazing coffee and establish some relationships with growers that I could potentially buy directly from.
Exciting stuff..but back to the bad. I have a couple of folk helping keep Crankhouse Coffee running smoothly in my absence and they will endeavour to fulfil any web orders on time and as efficiently as usual. If for any reason that doesn't happen then I'll be happy to refund any orders and will extend a huge apology for my error.
